Our services
We rent out all houses, including yours

When a house is rented out, it involves, among other things:
Marketing and commercialisation
The property is marketed via specific and targeted channels to reach the right tenant profiles. This is always agreed individually.
Dialogue with potential tenants
Respond to enquiries and distinguish between serious, frivolous, good profiles and less good profiles.
Viewing a house
Showcase to potential tenants - this can be any day of the week and at peak times.
Drawing up a rental contract
Drafting the rental contract - with any additions from the tenant and landlord.
Payment overview
Manage deposits and rent payments and ensure they are received on time.
Move-in inspection
Carry out a move-in inspection where the condition of the property is documented in writing and photos are taken of everything.
Dialogue with the tenant
Answer questions from the tenant during the process.
Dealing with challenges
Manage any challenges in the tenancy along the way. A distinction must be made between the tenant's and landlord's maintenance obligations.
Consumption accounting
If consumption is paid on account, the tenant is entitled to an annual consumption statement.
Relocation inspection
Carry out a move-out inspection to decide whether the tenant should be liable for works in the lease.
Security deposit
Refund of deposit if the parties agree.
Communication afterwards
Possible repercussions regarding deposit and default in the lease.
If you have the time, desire and skills to do the above, you're well equipped to rent out your house.
If you'd rather let a professional rental agency handle all or part of your house rental, LejeMægleren is ready to help. We have a large network of professional tenants who need houses for rent throughout Denmark. The tenants are typically foreigners who are posted to Denmark for a limited period of time, and we work with various companies, embassies and organisations to help their employees find the right house, townhouse or apartment.
Do I need to renovate before renting out my house?
Furnished or unfurnished?
- Dining table and chairs
- Beds
- Wardrobe
- Kitchen utensils
- Service
- TV
- Sofa
- Towels and bed linen
In addition, it's an advantage to have simple Nordic-style furnishings, as this has the broadest appeal. On the other hand, we also experience other preferences from other parts of the world, so it's difficult to make a definitive list.
There are tenants for both furnished and unfurnished properties, but if you're renting for less than a year, it's typically an advantage to rent furnished. Conversely, the biggest market for unfurnished properties is for periods ranging from 2 years and more.
If you want sparring or advice about renting out your house, you are welcome to write or call, and we will start a dialogue about your specific property.
