We can rent out all homes to expats

Based on our solid experience of finding rental accommodation for expats in particular, we have realised that everyone's needs are different. Some want a centrally located apartment and others bring their spouse and family to Denmark and want a house or townhouse with more space. That's why we at LejeMægleren are interested in all types of property, whether large, small, expensive or cheap. We have a large network of potential tenants from our international network, which primarily consists of companies, embassies and organisations that need rental properties for shorter or longer periods for expats.

We help both private and professional landlords with either part or all of the expat rental process and are committed to delivering a great experience and exceptional service.

We look forward to helping you find the perfect tenant for your property.

We have helped rent out more than 2,500 different rental properties

We make a virtue out of renting to expats and finding the right people for your property. One of the benefits of renting to expats is that they often have a solid financial background, as their stay is typically financed by international companies.

This gives you as a landlord extra security when it comes to paying the rent. At the same time, expats are generally interested in well-maintained and fully furnished homes, which makes it easier to create an attractive deal. Take a look at this lovely apartment with its own garden in Copenhagen S. It's just one of the latest homes we've helped rent out.

What should you be aware of when renting to expats?

Renting to expats requires an understanding of their particular wants and needs. Many expats are looking for accommodation that offers both comfort and functionality, as they often arrive in Denmark without their own furniture and with a desire to settle in quickly. Therefore, it can be beneficial to offer homes that are furnished with modern amenities and ready to move into.

An important factor for expats is location. Housing close to workplaces, international schools or transport links is a high priority. It's a good idea to emphasise these benefits when marketing your property to this target group. In addition, nearby leisure facilities, green spaces and access to city life can also play a big part in their decision. We help make your property attractive for rental

We make sure everything is ready when renting out your property to expats

Communication is often a key part of a successful rental process for expats. Many prefer clear and simple agreements presented in English. It can also be beneficial to offer assistance with practical matters such as registering with the registry office, setting up utilities or introducing the local area. These small extra services can make a big difference for expats new to Denmark.

Renting to expats is an opportunity to attract an international tenant who often values transparency and quality. By understanding and meeting their expectations, you can create a rental agreement that benefits both parties and provides a seamless experience.
